Robert Holloway, MD, MPH
Dr. Holloway is Professor of Neurology and Community and Preventive Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical
Center. After obtaining his MD from the University of Connecticut, Dr. Holloway completed residency training in Neurology
and a Fellowship in Health Services Research at the University of Rochester. Additionally, Dr. Holloway completed a Masters
in Public Health and is certified in Palliative Medicine. Dr. Holloway is the Director of the Research Education, Training,
and Career Development Key Function of the University of Rochester’s Clinical Translational Science Institute. His research
has focused broadly on technology assessment, outcomes research and cost-effectiveness of neurological care and practices.
He has had a growing interest in the implications of individual and institutional conflicts of interest in the conduct of
research and clinical practice.
