responsible for a portfolio of clinical trials and other clinical research, primarily in stroke and other cerebrovascular disease.
Her primary research interests are in clinical trials outcome measures, particularly measures of quality of life and of cognitive impairment
associated with neurologic disease or therapy. In addition, she has a continuing interest in clinical trials methodology, research
integrity, and protection of research subjects. She participates in several NINDS and NIH working groups addressing these issues and has
served as the NINDS liaison to the ORI Research on Research Integrity program.
