R. Michael Poole, MD FACP
Dr. Poole is Chief Medical Officer at Link Medicine Corporation in Cambridge MA. After obtaining his MD from
UC San Diego School of Medicine, Dr. Poole completed residency training in Internal Medicine at Strong Memorial
Hospital, University of Rochester and Neurology training at the University of Michigan Hospitals. After a several
year stint in academia, Dr. Poole joined Parke Davis Pharmaceutical Research in 1996 and has since been involved in
clinical research with drug candidates aimed at psychiatric, neurologic and analgesic indications. His experience and
scope of responsibility range from early first-in-human experiments through global, pivotal proof of efficacy trials
conducted both in large pharmaceutical company and venture-funded biotechnology environments.
